Passover Homebound Delivery

A mitzvah for temple members

Temple members are needed to pack and deliver Passover meals to the homebound. Packing begins at 9 AM; drivers should report at 9:45 AM. (A continental breakfast will be served.)

Project Prom

Temple Emanu-El once again will help more than 200 young ladies shine at their spring proms. Help set up on Tuesday, April 4 from 11 AM to 4 PM. Assist girls with dress selection on Wednesday, April 5 and Thursday, April 6 from 11 AM to 6 PM. Those interested in volunteering should contact tikkunolam@emanuelnyc.org.

Stitch'n Time

Open to temple members only
One East 65th Street

All temple members are invited to Emanu-El's monthly knitting group. Stitch'n Time is a volunteer program at which individuals knit items for various organizations in need. Both experienced and novice knitters are invited to join us; instruction is provided. We provide yarn and patterns; you bring #8 needles. Light refreshments are served.

Second Seder for the Elderly

Second Seder is one of our longest running community service programs. It is staffed by dedicated temple members who volunteer their time to help make this evening possible. Volunteers must be temple members.

Volunteer Shabbat/Tribute to Richard Newman

Fifth Avenue Sanctuary

Join with friends and family as we pay special tribute to our fellow congregants who participate in Emanu-El's many volunteer programs. We also will be honoring Richard Newman upon the occasion of his upcoming cantorial ordination. A special Oneg Shabbat will follow.
