Jewish singles, temple members and nonmembers, are invited to an expert scotch tasting at the second oldest private social club in NYC. Appetizers and other drinks served as well. Temple members register at rgreenberg@emanuelnyc.org. Nonmembers register at emanu-el.ticketleap.com/scotchandsoda.

NYC Schlep 2017

Robert F. Wagner Jr. Park, Battery Park

This annual 5K run/walk is the first and only to aid Jewish women in the fight against breast and ovarian cancer. Each year, it raises money to benefit cancer research and care at Israel's Rabin Medical Center. Temple Emanu-El is not organizing a team this year, but we encourage all congregants to register on their own to help spread awareness and engender support for this important cause.

Stitch'n Time

All temple members are invited to Emanu-El's monthly knitting group. Stitch'n Time is a volunteer program at which individuals knit items for various organizations in need. Both experienced and novice knitters are invited to join us; instruction is provided. We provide yarn and patterns; you bring #8 needles. Light refreshments are served.

The Annual Gathering of Remembrance is a commemoration of the 6 million who died during the Holocaust. A limited number of tickets are available to temple members. To obtain tickets, temple members only should call Mark Heutlinger at (212) 507-9511. All others should call the Museum of Jewish Heritage at (646) 437-4227.
