all Temple members are invited to participate in a variety of activities organized around this festive weekend…
  • All-Access Pass • 5 PM — Prior to Friday evening services, learn how our magnificent Main Sanctuary (Fifth Avenue at 65th Street) gloriously communicates our history and how the architecture and design add meaning to our worship. There is no better way to familiarize your family with our distinctive mode of worship than by attending this very special event. (There is no fee for the tour, but reservations are required.)

  • Worship Service • 6 PM — Celebrate the Sabbath and see our beautiful sukkah. The service will include the blessing of the children under the sukkah and a performance by our Emanu-El Junior Choir. Please remember our new Friday evening start time! All are asked to bring a donation of fresh apples or oranges, dried fruits and nuts for the Tikkun Olam Sukkot Harvest Fruit Drive to help the hungry. (Collection baskets will be available in the Fifth Avenue lobby during services.)

  • Sukkot Family Dinner • 7 PM — Temple families with children of all ages are invited to our festive Sukkot dinner, which will include Israeli dancing, and the shaking and blessing of the lulav and etrog. Charge is $35 per family; reservations are required. After dinner, students in grades 5-6 and 7-8 are invited to a synagogue slumber party.

NOTE: THIS IS A SHABBAT @ EMANU-EL SERVICE.
