Shir Chadash (“A New Song”)
Temple Emanu-El is pleased to offer a new style of
worship service to be held periodically on Friday night...
Shir Chadash (“A New Song”) features a contemporary liturgy interspersed with Chasidic tales and other teachings. The music, led by a vocalist and instrumentalists, is informal and participatory. All are welcome!

As part of the High Holy Days, we once again will be adding one Shir Chadash service at 8 PM on the Eve of Rosh Hashanah (October 2, 2016) and one at 5:30 PM on the Eve of Yom Kippur (October 11, 2016). In addition to being less formal than our traditional High Holy Days services, Shir Chadash services also are somewhat shorter. Tickets for temple members are available by request at no additional charge. Seating is open. Bring friends! (Simply let us know how many additional seats you will need.)
