The fourth annual AJWS Teen Benefit was a huge success, raising more than $25,000 for HIV/AIDS prevention and relief. Led by seniors Lindsey Spohler, Katie Hartman and Alyssa Kirschenbaum (pictured), the committee of Emanu-El high school students planned a fun evening at the Prince George Ballroom. More than 200 teens attended.

This annual program is planned entirely by the Emanu-El co-chairs and their committee. The teens develop a fundraising strategy and coordinate all details for the event, including selecting the venue, designing the invitations, and soliciting donors for raffle prizes and monetary donations. The teens show incredible commitment toward a cause that is important to them. Students interested in being on next year’s committee should contact Missy Bell.
