TOT SHABBAT: Celebrate the Sabbath in a kiddie-friendly environment with services geared specifically for our youngest Temple members! Developed for families with children through early school age, our Tot Shabbat features a brief “singing” service with a story. After services, we gather for a traditional Sabbath dinner and an art project.
STORYTIME IN THE LIBRARY: Led by Temple Emanu-El librarian Elizabeth Stabler, Storytime makes use of our wonderful collection of children’s books to introduce youngsters (from 2½ years old) to the Jewish holidays and various aspects of Jewish culture.
DOTING DADS:
A new group formed within
Young Families, Doting Dads
organizes after-dinner
activities for children at our
Tot Shabbats, as well as other
special events for fathers and kids.
CHALLAH PROGRAM:
In conjunction with the Temple Emanu-El
Nursery School, challot are distributed
weekly for use at your Sabbath dinner.
