We’re looking for Temple Emanu-El teens who are interested in spending time rebuilding communities devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Three and a half years later, people still are without homes. Come join us in this important mission that will include hands-on community service; tours of New Orleans, which is famous for its music, food and architecture; and a unique opportunity to connect with other Emanu-El teens.
Trip Dates:
Friday, February 13, 2009 —
Tuesday, February 17, 2009
Registration fees will be approximately $650 and include flights, transportation, food and lodging. Scholarships, up to 90 percent, will be available. Final costs will be determined in the fall.
