To My Fellow Congregants,
In these troubling and uncertain times, I want you to know how proud I am of Rabbi Davidson, the clergy, and our temple staff as they navigate the cross currents of a world that is moving away from physical contact, ensuring that our temple continues to meet your spiritual, educational, and social needs. Temple Emanu-El is prepared to carry on the work of the congregation.
Although we can not physically be together, Shabbat and Holiday services will continue and will be offered by live stream. You may attend services by visiting our Facebook page or our website’s broadcast page. Service times will remain the same: Friday evenings at 6:00 PM and Saturday mornings at 10:30 AM. Holiday services will be sent via email and posted in our calendar

Our daily Sunset Service will also be broadcast on these web pages, Sunday through Thursday at 5:30 PM. Saturday morning’s 9:15 AM Torah study will be hosted by conference call and a link will be posted on our website’s services page.
Life cycle events will continue as scheduled, but due to these new guidelines, only immediate family will be allowed to attend in person. A password-protected live stream can be made available. We will be in touch with B’nei Mitzvah families with the option of rescheduling dates.
If we cannot host events or programs, we will have systems in place for you to attend remotely. If we cannot gather for the Passover Seder, we will provide a video or live stream, so you can participate online wherever you may be. And, to the greatest extent possible, we will endeavor to support the social needs of our community, especially those who are most at risk, self-quarantined, or have significant needs.
While this is a time that calls for isolation, we want you to know you are not alone. Your temple is committed to doing everything we can to help during these difficult times, and to maintain your connection to Judaism and this vital community.
