Dream Big: A Broadway Family Shabbat
5:30 PM Doors Open + Light Bite | 6:00 PM Service | 6:50 PM Shabbat Dinner
Join us for Family Shabbat, filled with joy and gratitude! Jacob dreamed of a ladder reaching all the way to heaven. What happens when we dream big too? Join us for a Broadway-inspired Family Shabbat filled with music, imagination, and some of our favorite songs from the stage as we explore Jacob’s dream and the dreams we have for ourselves and our world. Then take your seats for a festive Shabbat dinner worthy of opening night! Led by Rabbi Sarah Reines and Director of Lifelong Learning, Mike Witman, this celebration also features our musician in residence, Ross M. Levy. Open to all Temple Emanu-El families.
We understand that busy parents in our community – from Nursery School to Religious School – want to create a Shabbat experience for their children, but struggle to find the time. That’s why we’re offering accessible moments like Family Shabbat, where parents can participate in their children’s Jewish learning. Just register and show up. We’ll handle the rest.
