Yahrzeit Reminders

Each year, we remember the lives and legacies of those who have touched our hearts. Temple Emanu-El is honored to help you observe the yahrzeit, the anniversary of a loved one’s passing, with meaningful reminders and opportunities for reflection.
Members automatically receive timely email reminders prior to each yahrzeit, along with the date on which their loved one will be mentioned during Shabbat services. These reminders are a way to stay connected to memory, tradition, and community.
If you would like to update your yahrzeit list or add the name of a loved one, please contact our Membership Office at 212-507-9514.
In order to track this information in our system, the following information is needed:
• Name of deceased
• Date and Year of death
• Relationship to member
