Not everyone has relatives nearby. Some of us are aging on our own. Others are building Jewish lives without Jewish family. Whatever your story, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Not everyone has reliable support from their relatives. Many adults find support from friends, neighbors, colleagues, professionals — and fellow temple members! Since 2014, Community as Family has provided opportunities for “solos” to gather with others at informative meetings as well as brunches, shabbat services, holiday celebrations, and cultural outings. Caring connections and supportive friendships are at the heart of this warm and welcoming space.
