We are looking forward to being joined by special guest Dr. Gillian Dean, Chief Medical Officer of Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, who will be sharing a talk titled, An Ordinary Day, Extraordinary Care: 8 hours in a NYC Family Planning Center.

More About Dr. Gillian Dean, Chief Medical Officer of Planned Parenthood of Greater New York
In her role with Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, Gillian Dean, MD, MPH (she/her) oversees clinical care in health centers and by telehealth across over 60% of New York State. She is a nationally recognized leader in the field of Complex Family Planning, author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and online resources and frequently quoted in print and online media. She is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and fellow of the Society of Family Planning and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College, medical degree from Harvard Medical School, and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, San Francisco where she subsequently completed a Fellowship in Family Planning. She received an MPH in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.
