Tikkun Olam: First Day of Sukkot Apple Drive

In celebration of Sukkot and to help alleviate hunger in New York City, Tikkun Olam at Temple Emanu-El will collect donations of fresh apples from September 28 through October 18. Donations may be left in the lobbies at 10 East 66th Street and One East 65th Street.

Once collected, the apples will be donated to our Sunday Lunch clients and City Harvest, and some will be used to bake bars that will be distributed to people experiencing food insecurity.
