Thank You to Our Volunteers at Mitzvah Day

Tikkun Olam Volunteers and Project Leaders gathered in Wise Hall this past Sunday, March 17, 2024, to assemble over 2,000 packages containing more than 16,000 items, including provisions for food insecurity, to aid communities in need during Tikkun Olam’s Spring Mitzvah Day. We are grateful to the over 60 community members who arrived ready to make a difference.

Tikkun Olam extends our gratitude to our partner organizations for their collaboration on this Mitzvah Day: Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter, Part of the Solution, The Bowery Mission, and The Urban Outreach Center. We would also like to express our thanks to all the volunteers who participated in this Mitzvah Day, the Project Leaders who organized and assisted at each station, and the dedicated staff of Temple Emanu-El under the leadership of Jesus Toribo. Without these individuals, these Mitzvahs would not have been possible.
