Isabel is the Program Manager for the Department of Lifelong Learning. Growing up in Queens, her local temple played a significant role in shaping her Jewish identity, providing a safe space to play, ask questions and feel a sense of belonging. Isabel brings a diverse background in the arts and education, along with a passion for fostering inclusive learning environments. She studied Social-Emotional Teaching and Learning at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education.
Outside of her work at Temple Emanu-El, Isabel specializes in teaching arts-based curricula to children on the autism spectrum. She also has a deep love for the arts and recently performed in the Broadway National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof. Isabel looks forward to a wonderful school year ahead!
