Since October 7, 2023, the people of Israel have endured an unprecedented wave of violence—from Hamas’s brutal attacks to the confrontations with Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iran.
Temple Emanu-El stands in solidarity with Israel and its people. Our Israel Emergency Appeal Fund supports vital humanitarian efforts during this crisis, including:
- Trauma relief and counseling for children and families
- Emergency medical care and supplies
- Support for impacted communities
- Resources for frontline responders and mental health professionals

Pray for Israel
In times such as these, prayer can be helpful in finding comfort, focus and resolve. Please pray for the State of Israel, the Israel Defense Forces, civilian hostages held by Hamas and for lasting peace. The Central Conference of American Rabbis has compiled a free booklet of prayers.
