After the Yom Kippur morning service we invite you to learn, study and reflect in a session led by scholars of the temple. Participation is open to all congregants and guests. Sessions are held from 12:30 to 1:30 PM via Zoom. Links to these sessions will be added soon.

JUDAISM IN ACTION
Anat Hoffman, Executive Director of the Israel Religious Action Center
As we look back on 5780, we must consider not just what we have done that we might regret but also what we have not done. Have we lived Jewishly? Anat Hoffman, Executive Director of the Israel Religious Action Center and director of Women of the Wall, will join us virtually from Israel to discuss what Judaism in action means, for individuals and for our community.

TEMPLE EMANU-EL: LOOKING BACK
Warren Klein, Bernard Museum Curator
On this solemn day of personal reflection, we invite you to reflect collectively on the 175 years since our congregation was created in a loft on the Lower East Side. Warren Klein, curator of our Herbert and Eileen Bernard Museum of Judaica, will discuss how we celebrated our 50th anniversary in 1895 and our 100th in 1945, displaying images and documents from our museum and archives.
