Center for Interfaith Dialogue: Interfaith Shabbat with St. Francis of Xavier
Temple Emanu-El and the Center for Interfaith Dialogue proudly invite you to join us for an interfaith commemoration of Veteran’s Day. Remain with us after services for a nourishing reception where we will hear from leaders at St. Francis Xavier and at Temple Emanu-El.
The Church of St. Francis Xavier, a Roman Catholic parish in the Jesuit tradition, strives to be a prophetic, welcoming community. As a people of hope, the congregation at St. Francis Xavier commits itself through prayerful and creative discernment to respond to God by: being a respectful community where seekers and their questions are welcomed, where injustice is challenged, where the poor, the alienated and the marginalized find a home, and where people are refreshed, reconciled and renewed.
Our interfaith Veteran’s Day service will be held on Friday, November 7th, from 6:00-7:00PM. A catered reception will be held directly following services and run until 8:30PM.
