Women of Emanu-El: Summer Mornings Bridge Intermediate Play
Summer Mornings 2026 on Thursdays from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Seize this chance to keep playing and learning with Peter Steinberg, one of America’s most cherished bridge figures and the sole bridge instructor endorsed by several World Champions. Our morning Intermediate Lessons/Play sessions are a mixture of the old and new and will start on Thursday, July 16th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Topics include: Two-Over-One bidding reviews, New Minor Forcing, when to draw Trump, and when not to, Communication, when Losing tricks is winning, and more. Each two-hour session features an hour of Supervised Play. All skill levels are welcome. Come alone, and we will match you with a partner, or bring your partner, and we will assign you a table.
The 8-week session dates are: July 16th, 23rd, 30th, August 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, and September 3rd.
Open to all Temple Emanu-El members and their spouses, partners, or bridge-playing friends. Non-members may attend if sponsored by a Temple Emanu-El member.
Materials: All materials, including pre-typed notes, will be provided.
Registration: Advance registration is required.
