Center for Interfaith Dialogue: Spirit of the Galilee Lecture

Spirit of the Galilee works towards the advancement of pluralism, mutual understanding and cooperation between various denominations, religions and cultures of our region, Arabs and Jews alike. We are invested in building a shared society here in the Galilee, as a model for the entire country, the region, and the world.

Rabbi Leora Ezrachi-Vered was born in Jerusalem a third generation interfaith activist, and was brought up in a religious, liberal, and Zionist home. After being ordained by the Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem, she became the rabbi of Nigun Halev, a liberal Jewish congregation in the Jezreel Valley.

Born in the Galilean town of Iblin, Father Haj is the spiritual leader of the Greek Orthodox Church of Iblin. He is the co-director of the interfaith leadership group.
