PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Towards an Interfaith Dialogue of the Senses
This interfaith trip to Andalusia with Temple Emanu-El’s Senior Rabbi Rabbi Joshua Davidson and Director of the Center for Interfaith Dialogue Dr. Alyssa Cady in partnership with the National Council of Synagogues, Peace Islands Institute, and Arco Forum explores the rich historical legacy of coexistence, dialogue, and cultural exchange among Muslims, Jews, and Christians during al-Andalus.
Through guided visits to significant religious and cultural sites, art, and architecture, the program aims to foster mutual understanding, build relationships across differences, and inspire collaboration among participants of diverse backgrounds. This journey offers a living model for how interfaith engagement can contribute to a more just, inclusive, and peaceful society today.
