Tikkun Olam Thanksgiving Dinner
As the season of gratitude approaches, an opportunity arises to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community. Join us on Sunday, November 24th as we come together to host a heartwarming Thanksgiving dinner, bringing joy and comfort to 225 seniors, women from local domestic violence shelters and families facing the challenges of homelessness. By lending a helping hand and sharing a meal, we have the power to create a sense of belonging and foster hope in the hearts of those who need it most. Let’s weave a tapestry of unity and warmth, where every smile and every conversation becomes a thread of love and support for our community members in their time of need.
There are two opportunities for volunteers this year:
- 1:00-3:00 PM for set-up
- 3:00 – 6:00 PM for serving Thanksgiving Dinner
The Annual Thanksgiving Dinner will be held in Wise Hall. Guests will arrive at 4:00 PM. Volunteers aged 13 and older are welcome, but space is limited. Registration is mandatory. Please email tikkunolam@emanuelnyc.org with any questions.
